Japan April Trade Deficit JPY808.8 Billion, Bank of Japan Keeps Policy Unchanged; Lifts Capital Spending Outlook

Meanwhile, Bank of Japan Keeps Policy Unchanged; Lifts Capital Spending Outlook, The Bank of Japan left its monetary policy unchanged on Wednesday and raised its assessment of capital expenditure as the economy is expected to withstand the impact of sales tax hike. The policy board of the central bank decided to persists with its policy of increasing the monetary base at an annual pace of about JPY 60-70 trillion.
